These terms are the agreement between you and Buzz Innovations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17212684(“Vidmoat”, “we”, “us”). They cover the editor, the AI features, Creator Studio, the API, plugins, and everything else at vidmoat.com and its subdomains.
By creating an account or using Vidmoat you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind it.
If you are a consumer, nothing here takes away rights the law gives you. Section 16 says which rights those are and how they beat anything else in this document.
You must be at least 16, and old enough in your own country to enter into a contract. You must not use Vidmoat if you are barred from doing so under UK, EU, US or other applicable sanctions or export law.
You sign in with Google, with Apple in our iPhone app, with Telegram, or with an email address and password. Keep whichever you use secure: anything done through your Vidmoat account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has access. One person, one account, unless you are on a plan that includes seats.
Anything you connect acts as you. That includes API keys and recipe keys, MCP connections from AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor, our bots in Telegram, WhatsApp and Discord once you link them, and AI agents you connect, including Claude Code running with your own key. What they do through your account, and the credits they spend, is treated as done and spent by you, and you are responsible for it. Treat keys as passwords, do not commit them to a public repository, rotate them if exposed, and disconnect anything you no longer trust. A connected agent cannot complete a payment for you: a purchase always needs you to confirm it yourself, on our website or in an app store.
You keep every right you already had in the video, audio, images, text and projects you bring to Vidmoat. We do not claim ownership of any of it.
You promise that, for everything you upload:
To run the service you have asked for, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, transmit, transcode, analyse and display your content. That licence exists only to operate and improve Vidmoat for you, and it ends when you delete the content or close your account, apart from copies in backups that age out on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
What this licence does not allow us to do. We will not use your content to train generative AI models, and we will not allow anyone we send it to on your behalf to train on it. We will not use your content to market or promote Vidmoat. We will not sell it or license it on to anyone else. If we ever want to do any of these things, we will ask you first, and you will be free to say no.
If you publish to Vidmoat Social, you additionally allow us to show that post publicly and to other users; that is the point of posting. The Vidmoat Social terms cover it.
Vidmoat’s AI runs on models operated by other companies, named in the Privacy Policy. Using an AI feature sends material to them, and you should not use those features for content you are not permitted to disclose to a third party.
You own the outputof Vidmoat’s AI features, to the extent it is capable of being owned. Two honest caveats. Copyright law on AI-generated material is unsettled and differs by country, so we cannot promise any particular output is protectable. And AI output is not unique: the same or similar output may be produced for someone else from a similar request.
AI output can be wrong, unsuitable, or infringe someone’s rights. We do not review it for accuracy, bias or clearance. Check anything before you publish it, and treat it as a draft rather than an answer.
Features marked beta, experimental or preview may change or disappear, and are provided without the commitments in section 16 that apply to the rest of the service.
Vidmoat can generate and alter images, video and voices. If you publish content made or materially altered by AI that could lead someone to believe a real person said or did something they did not, you must make clear that it is artificial, at the point people first see it. In the EU this is a legal requirement under the AI Act; everywhere else it is a condition of using Vidmoat.
Exports carry a machine-readable provenance tag and an invisible identifier, described in the Privacy Policy. You must not remove or falsify them.
You must not use Vidmoat to create, upload, store or publish:
You also must not:
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where it is safe and lawful to tell you why, we will.
When you connect a platform you authorise us to post on your behalf, as and when you instruct, and to read back the resulting statistics. You can disconnect at any time.
Each platform has its own rules and you are responsible for meeting them.Your content must comply with that platform’s terms, and you remain responsible for what is posted from your account. We are not responsible if a platform removes your post, restricts your reach or suspends your account.
Platforms also control what our integration is allowed to do, and can change it without notice. Some restrict apps they have not yet reviewed: they may force posts to be private, cap how many accounts can connect, or limit how many uploads a day are possible across all of our users combined. Where we know of a restriction we tell you in the product before you schedule anything. We cannot promise a platform will accept a post, keep working, or approve our application, and a failure to publish for a reason on their side is not a failure of our service.
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval and price shown at checkout, until cancelled. Prices are shown before you pay, and taxes are added or included as the checkout states.
Who takes the payment. When you pay by card on our website, the payment is usually taken by Dodo Payments, which acts as merchant of record: it sells to you on our behalf, collects and accounts for the sales tax, and its name may appear on your statement. Some cards in parts of Africa are charged through Paystack, and some older subscriptions are still billed through PayPal. Purchases inside our iPhone or Android app are made through Apple or Google under their terms, and purchases in our Telegram bot are paid in Telegram Stars under Telegram’s terms. Whoever takes the payment, what you get from us is governed by these terms.
Creditsmeter AI features that cost us money to run. A plan’s included credits refresh with your billing period: the refresh raises your balance to the plan’s allowance if it is below it, and never lowers it. Where a feature fails through our fault we give back the credits it took, as credits. Credits have no cash value and are not transferable.
Credit packs. Credits you buy in a pack, or that come with a day pass or a lifetime plan, are added to the same balance. They do not expire while your account is open, and the monthly refresh does not take them away. They end if your account is closed.
Promotional credits and rewards.Credits we give rather than sell, such as journey milestones, campaign and challenge rewards, credits for feedback, referral rewards, grant and promo codes, and goodwill credits, have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We can withdraw them, and anything bought with them, if they were obtained by abuse, through more than one account, or in breach of these terms or the rules of the offer. Cash rewards under a referral programme follow that programme’s own rules.
Cancelling.Cancel any time from your billing page. Your plan then runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and does not renew. We do not delete your work when a plan ends, but limits go back to the free plan’s.
If we change the price we will tell you before it applies to you, and you can cancel instead.
When a payment can be refunded is set out in the Refund Policy, which is part of these terms.
A lifetime plan is one payment for a plan tier that does not renew. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product, not of a person: access lasts as long as we provide the plan. It comes with a one-time grant of credits and no monthly allowance. The lifetime plan terms say exactly what is included.
The Refund Policy explains how both are counted.
The Refund Policy sets out when we refund a payment and how to ask. In short: we do not refund by default, except where the law where you live requires it or where we made a mistake, and where your local law gives you a right to cancel or a refund, we honour it.
If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel a contract made online and get your money back.
Most of Vidmoat is supplied as soon as you pay. Before every payment on our website we ask you to confirm that you want access straight away, and that you understand you lose your 14-day right to cancel for a refund once you start using it. We keep a record of that confirmation. For digital content, the right to cancel then ends once supply has started. For a service, it ends once the service has been fully provided; if you cancel within the 14 days before that, you pay for what you received up to the point you told us, in proportion to the whole, and we refund the rest. If you have not used what you bought, email [email protected] within 14 days and we will refund you in full.
Purchases made through Apple, Google or Telegram follow those stores’ own refund processes, as the Refund Policy explains.
If a charge looks wrong, please contact us first: it is usually the fastest way to get your money back. You keep every right to dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer. While a chargeback or payment dispute is open, we may pause the paid features the disputed payment was for, and we restore them if the dispute is withdrawn or decided in our favour. If you dispute a charge for something you have already used, and the dispute is not about a mistake on our side or a right the law gives you, we may close the account. We will not do that because you disputed a charge that was in fact wrong.
An expert handoff asks a human editor to work on one of your projects. When you buy one, you buy it from us: your contract for the handoff is with Buzz Innovations Ltd, and we are responsible to you for it under these terms. The work is done by an editor who has joined our editing programme and agreed to its rules, and we pay them a share of the price.
You agree the scope and price before you pay. While the handoff is open the editor has temporary access to that project, and you cannot edit it yourself; the access ends when the handoff closes. One revision is included. A delivered handoff you do not answer is accepted automatically after the period shown on the handoff. The edited project stays in your account and you can use it as your own. If you cancel before accepting, the project goes back to how it was when you handed it over.
If the editor does not deliver, or you cancel before accepting the work, you are refunded, as the Refund Policy sets out. A free volunteer request comes with no promise that anyone will take it or when.
Keep your own copies of anything you care about. Vidmoat is an editor, not an archive. We take reasonable care, but we do not promise your files will always be available or recoverable, and files no project references any more are cleaned up on the schedule in the Privacy Policy.
Closing your account deletes your projects, uploads and exports. That cannot be undone. Download what you want first.
If you believe something on Vidmoat infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with: your contact details; identification of the work; the URL or enough detail to find the material; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised; a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act; and your signature.
We remove material that is the subject of a valid notice. If yours was removed and you think that was wrong, send a counter-notice to the same address and we will pass it on and may restore the material.
We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
We aim to keep Vidmoat running and to improve it, which means features change and occasionally go away. We will give reasonable notice before removing something you rely on or making a change that materially reduces what a paid plan provides, and you may cancel if you do not accept it.
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it takes effect. Continuing to use Vidmoat after that means you accept the new version.
We will provide Vidmoat with reasonable care and skill. Beyond that, and beyond what the law requires, the service is provided as it is: we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a purpose you have not told us about.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for:
You have statutory rights that these terms cannot remove. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 our services must be performed with reasonable care and skill, and digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Any term here that would take those rights away does not apply to you. We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or failing to use reasonable care, and not for loss that is not foreseeable.
We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability arising out of or in connection with these terms is limited to the greater of one hundred pounds sterling and the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not responsible for content you create, upload or publish, or for the consequences of publishing it. If someone brings a claim against us because of your content or your breach of these terms, you will cover our reasonable losses and costs. This does not apply to consumers except where the claim arises from your deliberate or reckless act.
You can stop using Vidmoat and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that we are legally required to close, or that is being used in a way that puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we will give you notice and a chance to get your work out. For a serious breach, particularly anything in section 7 involving a minor, closure is immediate.
If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, or stop providing the service altogether, we refund the unused part of what you paid. That means:
Promotional credits and rewards are not refunded. Closing an account for a breach of these terms does not take away any refund the law gives you.
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as a natural disaster, war, civil unrest, an epidemic, a government action, a strike, or a failure of the internet, power, or a hosting, payment or AI provider we rely on, provided we tell you and take reasonable steps to limit the effect. If such an event stops us providing something you have paid for for more than 30 days, you may cancel it and we will refund what you paid for and did not receive.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Please email us before starting a dispute. Most things are a misunderstanding and get settled the same week.
We send notices about your account, these terms and your payments to the email address on your account, so keep it up to date. A notice by email counts as received when we send it, unless we know it did not arrive. You can send us notices at [email protected].
These terms, with the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy and any product-specific terms such as the lifetime plan terms and those for Vidmoat Social, are the whole agreement between us. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing something straight away does not mean we have given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our agreement; we may transfer ours to a company that takes over the business, and your rights are unaffected if we do.
