“Make it cinematic” isn’t a weak prompt because you were lazy — it’s weak because the vocabulary is the expertise. Tag a specialist and they brief the editor for you: the order of operations, the actual numbers, and the mistakes their field knows to avoid.
@colourist make it cinematicType @ anywhere you talk to the agent — the editor, the prompt bar above your projects, the phone app, Telegram. Up to 2 at once, and it costs no extra credits.
@film-editorCuts your footage like a film editor — where to cut, how long to hold, and why the cut you made feels wrong.
@colouristGrades like a professional — balance first, then look, and skin that still looks like skin.
@sound-designerBuilds the soundtrack layer by layer and delivers at the loudness the platform actually wants.
@motion-designerDesigns titles, lower thirds and graphics with real motion timing — nothing pops in and just sits there.
@shortform-strategistCuts for TikTok, Reels and Shorts — hook, safe zones, burned captions, and an ending that loops.
@retention-editorEdits long-form YouTube for watch time — hook, pattern interrupts, and killing the parts where people leave.
@doc-storytellerTurns raw interview and b-roll into a documentary — finds the story in the transcript before touching a frame.
@ad-directorCreative-directs a performance ad — attention in 3 seconds, brand in 5, one action at the end.
@interview-editorCleans up podcasts, interviews and talking heads — filler, breaths, dead air, and cuts you cannot see.
@accessibility-leadMakes your video legible and usable — captions to broadcast standard, contrast that passes, no seizure risk.
@brand-guardianKeeps every frame on-brand — one palette, one type scale, one motion signature, applied consistently.
@music-video-editorCuts to the music — on the beat, on the bar, and on the phrase, with the maths done.
@trailer-editorCuts a trailer — three acts, a rising build, a title card, and a button people quote.
@explainer-producerBuilds explainers people actually learn from — one idea at a time, narration and graphics that do not fight.
@youtube-editorEdits for YouTube like the channels that grow: the payoff by 0:30, a new beat every few minutes, chapters and an end screen.
@vlog-editorTurns a day or a trip into a vlog with a story: a goal early, places established, montages on the beat and natural sound.
@podcast-editorEdits video podcasts and their clips: motivated camera cuts, tight but human pacing, -16 LUFS, and clips that stand alone.
@course-editorTurns lectures and screen recordings into course lessons people finish: one idea each, zooms on the action, recaps and captions.
@gaming-editorTurns streams and gameplay into highlights, montages and vertical clips: only plays and reactions, facecam layouts, voice over game audio.
@video-essayistCuts script-led essays and commentary: the narration leads, every line gets a visual that proves it, quotes and clips labelled.
@wedding-filmmakerMakes wedding and event films people cry at: the vows and speeches as the story, cut to music, true skin and a white dress with detail.
@real-estate-editorMakes listing videos buyers can walk through: one route through the home, real window views, honest edits, and an MLS-ready cut.
@ugc-creatorCuts creator-style ads that convert and stay honest: product in 3 seconds, native captions, a clear CTA, disclosure and claim checks.
@food-creatorEdits recipe and cooking videos that make people hungry: the dish first, one action per shot, both units on screen, sizzle you can hear.
They are briefs, not people, and not separate AIs bolted onto your project. Each is a body of craft knowledge held to one rule: every brief has to end in something checkable. A loudness target. A pixel bound. A characters-per-second limit. Not “make it feel premium”.
A specialist never touches your timeline. It briefs the same editing agent you already use, which does the work with the same commands and the same undo history.
Tagging one makes the agent think harder on the first step, so expect a little longer before it starts — that is the point of asking for an expert. In Fast mode it has much less effect, because a fast model skips the detail the brief is made of.
